Landing Gear Revisited

I had serious wear issues with the brakes on my initial build.  After two attempts at solving the issue I contacted Denis at Gyro Technic to see if he could modify my axles to accept his brakes.  The modification was a great success and involved replacing the spindles in the axle tubes, new tires/wheel, brake calipers and master cylinder.  No more issues. 

Landing Gear Revisited – Trailer

After replacing the main landing gear I realized that my trailer would have to be modified to accept the wider tires.  Was very surprised when I pulled the Gyro up on the trailer for the first time. 

The first photo shows the trailer bed with the orange guide lines for the original wheels.  The next two photos show how much wider the new tires made the landing gear.  I got really lucky.

On the down side I will not be qable to use the wheel pants that came with my Gyro kit.
